Indiana Tracks Celebrate Racers; Look Forward to Season

BUNKER HILL, Ind. — International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) tracks Bunker Hill Dragstrip and US41 Dragstrip held their annual racers banquets on Friday and Saturday.

The tracks recognized their 2024 champions and looked ahead to the 2025 season. IHRA Division Director Christopher Eager attended both banquets and furnished photos.

Bunker Hill champions for the 2024 season were: John Nifong (Top ET), Steve Graham (Modified), Randy Wolfe (Sportsman), Doug Fisher (Motorcycle), Cadan Richardson (Jr. Dragster) and Sullena Hensley (Ladies Only). Graham was also honored as the track’s racer of the year.

The oldest track in Indiana is still going strong. Bunker Hill is hosting multiple preseason test-and-tunes before the first IHRA points races on May 24-25.

US41 Dragstrip was represented at the 2024 IHRA World Finals by Aaron Disinger, who went on to win the Top ET class at the Race of Champions. Other US41 representatives were: Bill Aubrey (Modified), David McVicker (Sportsman) and Lexie Klinger (Jr. Dragster).

Adding to the track’s big season, TJ Trench was the IHRA Division 5 Team Finals Top ET main event winner.

The 2025 schedule opens a swap meet on April 5-6. Their first IHRA SuperSeries points races are scheduled for May 3-4.

Congratulations to all the champions and other top finishers at these IHRA tracks. Check out their Facebook pages for the latest updates at these great venues.
